CJ's Recommendations
Brisbane offers a delightful choice to travelers.
With the Gold Coast less than an hour south & the Sunshine Coast about an hour north the beach lifestyle is never too far away for Brisbanites. The Islands of North Stradbroke (45 mins by car-ferry) & Moreton Island (75 mins by passenger ferry) add to the mix with fewer crowds & greater interaction with the wildlife (Tangalooma Resort on Moreton Island offer wild-dolphin feeding every night at dusk).
And don't forget the city, with her own artificial beach at Southbank, and an endless supply of cafes & every ethnic cuisine under the sun. Since the World Expo in 1988 Brisbane has firmly removed the shackles of a country town to become a real cosmopolitan metropolis.

Rugby in Japan
For those heading over to the Far Eastern shores of Japan and are keen to play rugby the All France Rugby Club should be their first port of call. Especially for foreigners unfamiliar with Japanese protocols the motley grew of ex-patriots and Francophile locals from All France will ease you into a rewarding rugby experience with a touch of French flair. Editor-at-large, CJ, spent a number of years representing this team as a player and manager over a number of years in the 1990s. They can be found at www.allfrance-rugby.com for their latest details.

India Trip
Yes Rok I'll be there for your wedding in November. I've also organised some rugby gear donated by select schools on the Gold Coast, namely TSS & Aquinas College, to present to your school in Puna.
Stay tuned!!!
India Trip
We, Rok & I, have had to postpone the India trip until the middle of next year: May, June or July. Hopefully this will not interfere with Brisbane rugby but we will just have to wait & see. We will be keeping a close eye on the development of rugby in this cricket obsessed nation that has recently achieved number 1 status amonst test playing nations (in Australia we didn't even know there was such a thing -we just enjoy our cricket in summer & rugby in winter).
